Payment

Payment is possible by credit card or bank transfer. You must complete the registration process, including selecting the payment method and providing all the required information. This step is mandatory to finalize your registration. Further details about the payment procedure is available through your personal myDOTT2026 area.

Invoices or receipts (for VAT exempt payments) will be issued and sent to participants after payment (except for PA invoice).

FOR ABCD/SIBBM MEMBERS

After payment, ABCD will issue a receipt indicating VAT exemption under Article 4 of DPR 633/72, addressed to the participant. ABCD/SIBBM members cannot request an invoice. Payments for congress registrations by members, as well as membership fees, are considered part of the association's core activities and are therefore not subject to VAT. Membership requires registration with ABCD and payment of the membership fee, which can be made simultaneously with the congress participation fee. If a receipt addressed to your organization is required, you must explicitly request it by contacting ABCD at segreteria@abcd-it.org or webmaster@abcd-it.org.

FOR OTHER PARTICIPANTS – INDIVIDUALS OR "PRIVATE" LEGAL ENTITIES

Before processing the payment, please determine wheter you have specific billing requirements. Please decide to whom your registration costs must be billed to and make sure that you have all the required information: address, VAT number or fiscal code (codice fiscale, for Italians only), etc.

After payment, ABCD issues an electronic invoice based on the payment form details. ABCD will be unable to modify the invoice should the details provided be incorrect or outdated.

FOR OTHER PARTICIPANTS – PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION – PA INVOICE

In the registration process, you have to select the PA invoice option and provide the following information:

  • IPA/Unique Code
  • Company Name
  • VAT Number
  • Tax Code
  • Address
  • ZIP Code
  • City
  • Province

ABCD will issue an electronic invoice based on the payment form details. ABCD will be unable to modify the invoice should the details provided be incorrect or outdated.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations with a refund request must be sent by e-mail to the secretariat and must be accompanied by a valid justification. Refunds will be decided case by case by the organising secretariat. If accepted, cancellations by 5 January 2026 will be refunded fully minus an administrative charge of 30 EUR; no refunds will be provided after 5 January 2026.

Abstracts

Abstracts are accepted exclusively through this website, through your personal myDOTT2026 area; you will need to to have an account to have access to the latter.

Only one abstract per participant is allowed. The abstract should be submitted by the presenting author only.

The abstract submission deadline is 19 December 2025. The organisers will then review the received abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

Abstracts guidelines:

  • Title. The title must start in uppercase and continue in lowercase, except for conventional terms (ATP, DNA, NFκB, etc). Example:
        This title is written correctly
This Title is Not Properly Written
         ALSO THIS TITLE IS WRONG
  • Authorship. If more than one author (but only in that case), underline your name (the presenting author, in whatever position you appear in the author list) and use commas to separate the author names; do not use 'and' before the last author. Write your name and surname in full; for any other authors use initial(s) for the first name(s) followed by the surname. If more than one affiliation (but only in that case), use sequential superscript numbers to identify each institution. Example:
       Mario Rossi1, J. Doe2, F. Bloggs1,2
1Dept Biomembranes, Golgi & Veratti Univ., Pavia, Italy
2Dept Bioblast Analyses, Altmann Univ., Leipzig, Germany
  • Abstract text. Keep the abstract text to within 2000 characters, spaces included (which is roughly equivalent to 250 words).
Meeting Support Grants

The ABCD and SIBBM will award meeting support grants, covering part of the registration fee, to a number of participants. To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:

  • be a member or a junior member of the ABCD or of the SIBBM;
  • be less than 35 years old at the start of the meeting.

You may apply for the meeting support grant during the registration procedure. The number of grants assigned will depend on the number of requests.

N.B. To be eligible for the grant, the participant must have already paid the corresponding registration fee.
